London, October 2025 | The FuturED Institute is proud to announce that Natasha Brown, Head of Outreach and Communications at the International Maritime Organization (IMO), will participate as a speaker at Technologies for Sustainability – London 2025, the international roundtable dedicated to innovation, diplomacy, and sustainable development.

With over two decades at the IMO, Ms Brown is a leading voice in maritime communication and policy. Since 2022, she has led the organization’s global engagement efforts, advancing its mission as the United Nations’ specialised agency for maritime safety, energy efficiency, and ocean protection. Her background in international journalism, together with a BA (Hons) in Applied Language Studies and an MA in Media, Campaigning and Social Change, supports her expertise in strategic communication and advocacy for sustainable maritime practices.

Her participation will highlight the transformative role of communication in the global transition towards clean technologies and responsible industry practices.

The event will take place on Thursday, 6 November 2025, at the Royal Horseguards Hotel, home of the United Nations Association of the United Kingdom (UNA-UK). Organised by The FuturED Institute in partnership with the International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA), it will bring together leaders, professionals, and students to join this collective effort for innovation and a sustainable present and future.
