London, November 2025 | The FuturED Institute and the International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA) have arrived at COP30 —held this year in Belém do Pará, in the heart of the Amazon rainforest— with a clear message: education, innovation and green trade are essential to transforming climate speeches into real, measurable action.

This historic edition, the first COP hosted in the Amazon, brings global attention to one of the planet’s most vital ecosystems. Key themes include climate finance, a just energy transition, nature protection, climate justice, climate technology and the resilience of sustainable cities.

Within this global context, The FuturED Institute and IGTCA are presenting initiatives that connect education, sustainability and development, promoting solutions that place both people and the planet at the centre.

The FuturED Institute promotes programmes that prepare new generations to lead the ecological transition, integrating science, entrepreneurship and social justice. IGTCA supports green value chains, local communities and investments that respect the planet’s limits.

At COP30, both organisations reaffirm that addressing the climate crisis requires strong alliances between governments, businesses, academia and civil society. Their joint work seeks to transform commitments into tangible projects that protect the Amazon, create sustainable employment and secure a liveable planet.

From The FuturED Institute and IGTCA, we are pleased to express our full support for COP30 and its activities, adding our voice —and our unwavering commitment— to a more sustainable future.
