London, 30 June 2025 – London will host the Blue Economy Roundtable on 8 September, a key international event bringing together more than 50 world leaders. Organised by the International Green Trade and Commerce Association (IGTCA), with the support of The FuturED Institute and several strategic partners. It will take place at the United Nations Association of the United Kingdom (UNA-UK) headquarters in Whitehall, London.
The roundtable will convene representatives from governments, the private sector, multilateral organisations, research centres and NGOs, with the aim of advancing joint strategies on the Blue Economy and ocean sustainability.
According to the organising committee, “Advancing the Blue Economy: Fostering Sustainable Growth and Innovation”, and hosting this dialogue in London represents a strategic opportunity to move towards fair, resilient, and innovative ocean governance.
