From the International Green Commerce and Trade Association (IGTCA) we are deeply grateful to LT10 for the invitation to talk in Santa Fe about key issues for global development: education, sustainability, international cooperation and the role of public and private actors in building fairer and more resilient futures.

During the interview, our president,  Juan Dávila y Verdin, shared experiences working with local and international institutions, including the positive impact of programs such as the one that IGTCA and The FuturED Institute develop together with sports clubs in Argentina and European foundations. One of these projects, supported by the Foundation of Princess Charlene of Monaco, seeks to empower young women through sports, training and nutritional support.

Also highlighted was the commitment to formal and informal education, reflected in initiatives such as the 5,000 scholarships awarded in collaboration with The FuturED Institute to students from the UNL, the Complejo Padre Monti, and municipalities such as Tostado. “One always returns home,” said Juan, recognizing the importance of reinvesting in home communities from a vision of global citizenship.

The interview also touched on geopolitical and climate issues, such as Argentina’s participation in international conferences, the need to build bridges between public and private sectors, and the value of democratic institutions in contexts of change.

These spaces for open dialogue encourage us to continue strengthening collaborative work networks between regions, sectors and generations.
