As part of a recent official visit to Ecuador, the International Green Trade & Commerce Association held a series of technical meetings with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility in Quito and PROECUADOR in Guayaquil to explore opportunities for international cooperation, sustainable trade, and investment promotion.

Representing the Association, Juan Dávila y Verdin, Chairman and Managing Director, met with Francisco Salgado, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, and Ambassador Iván Garcés, Director of Bi-Multilateral Negotiations. The technical discussions focused on mechanisms to strengthen international cooperation, facilitate trade and investment links, and identify areas of mutual interest for future collaboration.

In Guayaquil, meetings with Hugo Cañarte, Director of Investment Promotion and Connectivity; Carlos Zambrano, Director of Strategic Investment Management; and Miguel Álava, Investment Specialist, provided an opportunity to discuss Ecuador’s investment and export priorities and to explore avenues for engagement with international business and institutional networks.

The visit highlighted the value of technical dialogue and international partnerships in supporting sustainable economic development and strengthening connections between Ecuador and global stakeholders.

The International Green Trade & Commerce Association extends its gratitude to all participating officials and to Ambassador Luis Vayas Valdivieso and the Embassy of Ecuador in London for their valuable support in facilitating the programme.
