The International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA) is pleased to announce that Andrew Bowie MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland and Shadow Minister of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, will deliver the keynote address at the IV International Roundtable on Technologies for Sustainability, to be held on 21 October 2026 at Maryculter House, Aberdeen.
Organised by MBY Consultants and The FuturED Institute, with the support of IGTCA, the Roundtable brings together entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, academics and policymakers to explore the technologies, partnerships and investment opportunities driving the transition towards a more sustainable economy.
Andrew Bowie has represented West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine since 2017. During his parliamentary career, he has served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to former Prime Minister Theresa May, Minister for Exports, and the UK’s first Minister for Nuclear. His keynote address will provide valuable insights into the future of energy security, industrial innovation and sustainable economic growth.
As an independent and non-partisan organisation, IGTCA welcomes diverse perspectives that advance its mission of promoting sustainable development, innovation and international cooperation. The Association is committed to fostering informed dialogue based on shared objectives rather than political affiliation. In keeping with this commitment, all discussions at the Roundtable are conducted under the Chatham House Rule, enabling participants to exchange ideas openly in a trusted and confidential environment.
The 2026 edition also marks an important milestone as the Roundtable is being held in Scotland for the first time, recognising the country’s international leadership in energy, engineering, research and the net-zero transition.
Registrations are now open, and participants from across the United Kingdom and abroad are expected to attend this international gathering dedicated to advancing sustainable technologies and fostering international collaboration.
